Thank you for taking interest in my polio eradication work in India. In 1984, while moving around among poor villagers, I located two cases of polio and I started looking for polio vaccine when I found that polio vaccine is not available in India. I imported polio vaccine from Russia with my own money and started giving polio vaccine to poor village children. This work of mine was recognised and mentioned in the medical register of Indian medical association, Delhi that “I am the first person to import polio vaccine from Russia and distribute it free among poor village children”. The same has been recorded in India Book of Records and Limca Book of Records.
